Imagery Analyst II

The Operations, Intelligence and Security Business Unit currently has an opening for an Imagery/Advanced Geospatial Intelligence (AGI) Analyst at Langley AFB, Virginia.

JOB DESCRIPTION: The successful candidate provides direct functional imagery and advanced geospatial intelligence (AGI) analysis support to the Air Force Distributed Common Gound System (AF DCGS) weapon system. The IA supports exploitation and reporting of imagery and AGI derived from airborne ISR assets and national technical means (NTM). The IA is responsible for All-Source Processing, Exploitation, and Collaboration Techniques (ASPECT) and persistent surveillance of full motion video (FMV) feed while on target. The IA employs standard commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) softcopy imagery applications to accomplish exploitation of FMV, electro-optical (EO), Synthetic Aperture RADAR (SAR), Infra-red (IR) and multi spectral imagery. The IA reports exploitation results via voice and textual reports IAW mission reporting requirements based on Essential Elements of Information (EEI) to support Indications and Warning, current intelligence and battle damage assessment requirements. Shift Work is required to support 24 hours a day 7 days a week, 365 days a year operations. The shift schedules will be tied to the active duty Air Force crew schedules and will rotate periodically.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS: *An Active TS/SCI security clearance is required for this position.* A Bachelor's degree, a US military imagery analysis AFSC/MOS/NEC certification, and a minimum of 4 years of experience with DoD FMV, imagery and/or AGI analysis is mandatory. Note: 6 years of related experience can be used in lieu of bachelor's degree so a candidate with 10 years total experience may qualify for this position.

DESIRED SKILLS: DCGS exploitation experience. Certification as a DCGS IA, Measurement and Signatures Intelligence (MASINT) Analyst (MA), Imagery Mission Supervisor (IMS), Sensor Operator (SO) or Sensor Planner. Experience using the following applications: IESS, SOCET GXP, Case Executive, PRISM, and FalconView. Experience with FMV exploitation. Proficient with MS Office. AETC certified trainer. Experience developing training programs for imagery analysis.
