The time is right to join HNTB Corporation. We are seeking candidates for the position of GIS Analyst I onsite at Fort Bliss (El Paso, TX).
Responsibilities:
The GIS Analyst I is an entry level position with the following responsibilities:
* Preparing GIS data support, including analysis support, data conversion/migration and map productions.
* Encompasses map production, geographic analysis, database development, system design, and project implementation.
* Create geographic maps by means of available datasets Develop geographic databases, including designs and models Perform research into emerging GIS technologies Perform field data collection using prescribed technology, methodology and specifications.
* Perform field data collection using hand held and tablet GPS units as well as perform data management and analysis of field data in the office.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Geography, Planning or other related field of study preferred.
* Up to 2 years of experience using ESRI, Intergraph, or Bentley software products
