We are currently seeking a talented GIS Specialist for our San Antonio, TX facility.
As a GIS Specialist you will provide technical Geographic Information Systems (GIS) analysis and constructs GIS tools to support various enterprise efforts.
Job Duties:
· Performs complex analyses using ArcGIS software. Gathers Information, manipulates a wide variety of data types, analyzes data trends, and provides information and recommendations to the business or project teams.
· Constructs automation tools for analysis and reporting purposes.
· Acquires and applies intermediate knowledge of the business, its products and processes.
· Understands business goals, business objectives and strategies. Identifies, recommends, and develops tools and improvements in processes.
· Assists in planning, requirements development and execution of enterprise GIS strategy. Guides the development and implementation of key initiatives or business solutions.
Minimum Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Geographic Information Systems.
· 4+ years of business analysis experience.
· Significant knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS software, including at least two years experience with ESRI Business Analyst software.
Preferred:
· Retail site selection experience.
· Proven track record of using GIS to solve business problems
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Military experience.
