HDRGIS AnalystHDR|DTA is in search of an experienced Geographic Information System (GIS) Analyst to join our growing GIS team. The primary duties of the GIS Analyst will include performing GIS analysis and developing data and maps for a variety of environmental and regulatory documents. Maps and analysis are completed primarily using ESRI Desktop software. Analyst will be required to organize, document, visualize and execute analysis with large complex data sets from multiple sources. Analyst will work with vector, raster, GPS and CAD data in a GIS environment. Analyst will manage field collected GPS data and prepare GPS hardware/software for field use.

Requirements Bachelors in Geography, Planning, Engineering or Natural Sciences. 3+ years practical GIS experience, preferably within the consulting field. Experience with ESRI ArcGIS software and extensions; specifically Spatial Analyst and 3D Analyst. Familiar with ESRI Geodatabases. Experience with map grade GPS. Familiar with GIS scripting language(s) like Python or VBA. Familiarity with publically available data a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to multi-task and stay organized.
