HNTB CorporationTransportation PlannerOur Atlanta, Georgia office is currently seeking a multi-faceted Transportation Planner to join our Transportation Planning and Public Involvement group.
Responsibilities:
* Support and eventually lead studies and planning activities related to multi-modal transportation and land use analysis and policy.
* Conduct transportation and land use related research and documentation.
* Prepare reports and presentations.
* Perform technical analysis utilizing Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and travel demand modeling tools.
* Prepare graphical materials in support of transportation studies.
* Plan and document public outreach activities.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Urban and Regional Planning, Public Policy, or a related discipline, plus 1-3 years of transportation planning project experience.
* Knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS, CUBE/TP+ and Adobe InDesign a plus.
* Ability to think creatively and independently, lead task assignments and work as part of a larger multi-disciplinary team.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
