Environmental Scientist

Overview:

Responsibilities:

This is an entry level environmental scientist position. The succesful candidate will assist our professional environmental staff in several key areas including wetland delineation, wildlife biology, environmental permit preparation and report writing. The succesful candidate will experience frequent, rugged field work on land and water during all seasons. Assistance with, and participation in public presentations will occur.


Qualifications:

The succesful candidate shall have a minimum of a BS degree in wetland science, wildlife biology, environmental science or similar field; course transcripts shall be provided with the position application. 1-2 years experience in the environmental services field is preferred. The succesful candidate shall be proficient with Microsoft Office suite of computer programs, shall have excellent writing skills, and shall posses sufficient physical abilities necessary to perform strenuous field work during all seasons. The succesful candidate shall be amenable to public speaking, and able to attend night meetings. He/she shall possess a valid drivers licence and have the ability to travel within the U.S.
