Experience with Mapping, Cartography, Geography, Air Traffic Control, Aeronautical Information Management or Geodesy/Surveying. Experience in the use of Microstation CAD software. Experience in the use of ESRI Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software.
DESCRIPTION
Provide technical support to the National Aeronautical Navigation Services (AeroNav Products) Group in maintaining critical office operations to aid in the development and maintenance of the National Airspace System (NAS). In addition, support is needed to assist AeroNav Products in its mission to create, maintain, and distribute aeronautical data, charts, and associated products for air traffic control and the aviation community. Effective coordination is required between numerous government offices, air traffic control, and the aviation community to ensure success. Primary support will be to the FAA's Visual Charting and Airport Mapping (VCAM) Team.
