Jacobs Engineering Group Inc.GIS SpecialistJacobs/CSRS is seeking a talented and highly motivated GIS Specialist to support the City of New Orleans Federal and State Grants Management Program, located in our New Orleans, Louisiana office. The GIS Specialist will have primary responsibility for creating, editing, and maintaining data collected from Trimble GeoXT handheld GPS units.
Responsibilities Include:
Mobile Map synchronization (ArcGIS 10 Mobile for Windows)Data manipulation to include reports and creation of shapefiles (converting point-to-polygon; generating attributes for new features; exporting data into tables and reports) Troubleshooting Trimble GeoXT GPS and ArcGIS Mobile as neededAt least 2 years of project experience with ArcGIS Principles of ArcGIS Mobile for Windows. Experience with file geodatabases maintenance, domain generation, and Mobile map synchronization

Desired Experience and Skills:
Recent experience with ESRI Software (preferably ArcGIS 10) Experience with ArcGIS Mobile for Windows deployment. Experience with file geodatabases maintenance, geodatabases domain generation, and Mobile map synchronization
