We are seeking a entry level Field Environmental Scientist in our Canton, OH office for our expanding natural gas consulting operations. This disciplined individual will be responsible for providing environmental/ecological consulting to clients and staff on projects including wetland delineations, regulatory permit preparation and construction monitoring of biological resources; travel for extended periods of time as necessary. The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- BS in Biology, Environmental Science or related field
- One (1) to two (2) years of experience in the environmental consulting industry
- Detailed knowledge of federal and state regulations, implementation and guidance
- Extensive experience performing wetland identification, delineation and mitigation
- Experience with GIS, GPS and Microsoft Products in strongly preferred
- Ability to travel to field sites locally and overnight as necessary
- Willingness and desire to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team on several tasks/projects
- Detail oriented, resourceful, self-motivated and strong work ethic
- Flexibility in performing a variety of tasks to complete a project
