RETTEW’s GIS Service Area is looking for GIS Analysts that can work as part of our varied project teams. The GIS Analyst is responsible for support of GIS mapping, data editing, analysis, and related activities for RETTEW and its clients.
Duties of the GIS Analyst include the following:
Support GIS project and development efforts within the office.
Produce GIS products and services as directed by project managers and technical staff.
Work collaboratively with other GIS staff.
Provide entry-level technical support on projects for internal and external clients.
Provide information about GIS data, applications, and analysis to project staff.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in related discipline and 0-6 years of related experience.
Ability to discuss GIS requirements with technical professionals and translate requirements to defined tasks and products.
Strong computer skills including the ability to use varied required software as applicable.
ArcGIS experience is required with excellent skills in map-making and data editing. Additional experience with ArcGIS for Server and ArcGIS extensions desired.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Attention to detail required with adherence to quality control processes and standards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to respond quickly to map and analysis requests.
Experience in the oil and gas industry is highly desirable.
