Position Description:
Work as part of an agile team developing geospatially enabled software. Responsibilities include: software development, high availability / load enterprise grade software with geospatial requirements, capabilities, components, and applications. Prior experience specifically includes that necessary to integrate with, develop, and use:
- Web Applications (Front and Back ends)
- Web Services (e.g. OGC, WMS, WMTS, WCS, WFS, CSW)
- Information Management Services including, GIS / Geospatial Applications, Services, & APOs, Geodatabase Management Systems, Web Application & Service Frameworks, Platforms & Servers, and Operating Systems.
Basic Qualifications:
- BS or BA in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Management or related field
- 3+ years of experience with geospatial software development / engineering
- 3+ years of experience with languages, frameworks, platforms, ORMs, (e.g. C#, .NET, Java 1.4+, JEE, EJB, JSF, Struts, Spring, ASP.NET, WCF, ADO.NET, LINQ, Entity Framework, SQL, PL/SQL, JavaScript, KML, Python, Django, PHP, Oracle Application Express)
