Visiting Assistant Professor of Geography

 Two-year term appointment Visiting Assistant Professor of Geography effective Fall 2014.  Ph.D. preferred but we will consider candidates close to completion of the Ph.D.  We seek applicants with teaching and research interests in Nature-Society Geography who bring human geographic perspectives to their work.  The successful candidate will teach a total of five courses each year.  The five course load will include two sections of introductory nature-society geography or human geography and upper-level geography courses in the candidate’s area of specialty.  Colgate’s Geography Department currently consists of ten full-time faculty.
