Summary
Person will play a critical and highly involved role as a member of the Branch and ATM Network Management Team. Given the rapidly expanding scale and scope of our banking business, this associate will deploy new Geographic Information Systems (GIS) tools and data to support consistent and thorough geographic analysis of our expansion opportunities. Success in this newly created position is defined as a demonstrated ability to deliver best-in-class GIS tools and outputs for the Branch and ATM Network Management Team.
Responsibilities
-Build upon GIS platform, including identification of new tools, development, distribution and maintenance of in-house GIS capabilities
-Incorporate GIS concepts and insights into location analysis toolkit
-Provide location analysis and geospatial planning tools that support branch and ATM network strategies and initiatives
-Improve and maintain internal data in support of GIS capabilities and identify new sources as required
-Designs professional cartographic standards and provides mapping support for partners
-Works with Python programming language
-Fills a wide variety of GIS requests
-Leverage the capabilities of peers, business partners, and associates
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
-At least 5 years of Geographic Information Systems experience in a Retail or Financial corporate setting
-At least 1 year of experience in design and deployment of custom Geographic Information Systems tools
-Bachelor’s Degree or Military Experience
Preferred Qualifications
-At least 7 years of location analysis experience
-Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university
-Previous experience in financial services
-Extensive experience using ESRI Business Analyst software
-Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
-Ability to work independently
