Western Carolina UniversityAdjunct Geography FacultyPosting Information: Applications are continually invited for adjunct Geography instructors, especially with expertise in human geography. The Geography program is in the Department of Geosciences and Natural Resources. There is commonly a need for adjunct geography instructors to teach courses in the University Liberal Studies program. We invite applications to be submitted for potential openings. Typical responsibilities are to teach one or two sections of introductory courses, especially population geography and cultural geography. Each class enrolls 35 to 40 students.
Scheduling of classes may have some flexibility. If a job position becomes open, we will contact qualified candidates about the opportunity.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities/Competencies: Minimum Training & Experience Requirements Master's degree in the teaching discipline or a master's degree with a concentration in the discipline (a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in teaching discipline).
