Booz Allen HamiltonGeospatial Data AnalystServe as a geospatial information systems (GIS) infrastructure analyst, supporting federal government clients. Use ESRI ArcGIS tools to model, design, and analyze infrastructure networks. Support the research and data-driven analysis of logical and physical critical infrastructure networks and systems, and create and maintain geospatial databases supporting the analysis and visualization of geospatial data. Contribute to the analysis of strategic plans and methodologies to solve complex problems. Develop analytical and technical reports and publications, including creating graphics and writing significant portions of the documents. Make oral presentations to internal and external audiences. Act as a member of a team, leading subtasks that comprise a larger analysis, documenting analytic processes and procedures, and contributing to quality assurance.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
-Experience with ESRI ArcGIS tool suite
-Experience with georeferencing, digitizing, and geoprocessing
-Experience with cartography and creating client-ready map graphics
-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
-Ability to work effectively in a team environment with technical staff
-Ability to work in a rapidly-changing environment
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with researching, extracting, integrating, and manipulating geospatial and imagery data from multiple sources
-Experience with using Microsoft Access
-Knowledge of scripting languages, including Python to manage and create geospatial information
-Knowledge of ESRI extensions, including Network Analyst
-Possession of excelllent computer skills
-Possession of excellent organizational skills
-BA or BS in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics preferred
-GIS Professional Certification
