JLL is seeking a GIS Analyst to support the creation, analysis, management, and distribution of geospatial information, products, and services. The Analyst will be primarily responsible for map creation, automation projects and technical support for JLL’s proprietary geospatial mapping tool called Blackbird. The ideal candidate is a highly technology-oriented, creative problem-solver and be savvy with various GIS formats. This individual will have the ability to pick up customized tools and be willing to adapt to change. Responsibilities • Production of maps covering commercial real estate and other relevant subjects • Compile geographic data from a variety of sources to improve industry and market knowledge • Assist in geo-database maintenance and other company databases • Perform specialized studies and research in regards to specific projects and goals • Conform to QA/QC processes to maintain integrity of mapping resources and geospatial data • Evaluation of data from public resources or third-party providers • Provide technical assistance to end-users on GIS issues including logging, troubleshooting, resolving or referring problems to the appropriate IT resource Requirements • 3-4 years professional and/or academic experience managing and analyzing GIS data • High proficiency in ArcGIS and related software • High proficiency in Microsoft and Google Office Products o Emphasis on Excel and Google Earth/Maps • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite Products: Fireworks, Photoshop, • Working knowledge of KML, HTML, SQL • Big plus for knowledge of: VBA, Python, JavaScript
