Visiting Assistant Professor/Instructor with research and teaching expertise in geovisualization; including interactive digital and web mapping, applied techniques in GIS, and/or visual analytics.
Require: Ph.D. for appointment as Visiting Assistant Professor, ABD status for appointment as Instructor; training and experience appropriate for responsibilities.
Desire: Ph.D.; teaching experience.
The successful candidate will design and teach a new course in Geovisualization, as well as well as teach Mapping a Changing World (242), and the introductory Human Geography (101). The successful candidate is expected to contribute to the newly-proposed Geospatial Analysis Center (GAC) in the Department of Geography.
