Metropolitan Planning CommissionSavannah Area Geographic Information System (SAGIS) DirectorSavannah Area Geographic Information System (SAGIS) Director. A degree in Geographic Information Systems, Computer Science, Geography or a related field with a minimum of ten years of increasingly responsible management experience. Experience with the development and implementation of large systems and successful completion of large projects is required. The ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing is necessary, as well as, the ability to build consensus among various groups. Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
The position will be responsible for the expansion of the SAGIS program to include neighboring jurisdictions, private entities and revenue-generating initiatives. The position will supervise a small professional staff.
