Mariposa County, located in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, is known for its amazing sceneries, outdoor attractions, rural lifestyle, and historic towns.
Mariposa County is recruiting for a:
Senior GIS Specialist: under general direction, to oversee the development, operation, maintenance and continuing improvement and use of the County’s Geographic Information System (GIS). This position also develops innovative GIS applications and databases; maintains existing and new data layers and databases; leads GIS projects, performs spatial analyses and processing tasks; utilizes GIS programming techniques, and collaborates with other internal and external GIS professionals to efficiently deliver GIS products, applications and services. This position currently supervises one entry level GIS staff. $5,100.76 - $6,199.84/month
