Duke ICS ProgramAssistant Professor of the Practice & Associate DirectorThe International Comparative Studies (ICS) Program at Duke University in Durham, NC invites applications and nominations for an Assistant Professor of the Practice and Associate Director of ICS to begin July 2017.
International Comparative Studies is an undergraduate interdisciplinary program that bridges the humanities and social sciences.
The successful candidate will have completed a Ph.D. in the area that relates to the intellectual focus of ICS and will demonstrate evidence of an active global or transnational research and publication agenda. The candidate must be a stellar teacher and demonstrate the ability to teach core ICS courses. The candidate must also be an enthusiastic advisor, and an experienced administrator who can integrate the program’s commitment to undergraduate research, civic and global engagement, and interdisciplinary learning.
